Repatriation Efforts Continue!

27 charter flights arranged across 4 continents

Last week’s stats from Volanteus:

27 charter flights arranged across 4 continents

18 countries

10 airlines

11 aircraft types from ATR72 to B747-400

Last week was a monumental effort for the Volanteus team as our repatriation flights continued to take passengers home, which in some cases has been several months coming.

Our operations work 24/7 to ensure all flights are completed accordingly, monitoring progress throughout the night – this is mainly due to the broad variety of airports across the globe we are using on a daily basis. From Philippines to Peru, Brazil to Croatia – the time zones pose a challenge in themselves.

It’s testament to the dedication of our team that we don’t rest until the passengers safely disembark the aircraft.

Last week alone we repatriated 3,007 passengers. Bringing our total throughout this period to over 10,000.

The whole effort is about getting people home safely. Which is a message we can all relate to in the current circumstances.

Craig Grantham, Director of Commercial Jets comments, “I’m proud of the entire team at Volanteus. Presently the workload demands 24/7 attention, we all work seamlessly together to make sure flights are watched, customers are managed and our high standard of customer service is maintained. After all, our reputation demands we deliver each and every time, which is why our clients continue to work with us in repatriating their workforce in this time of need”.
