For those who don’t know, the ‘go-now’ urgent charters are often reserved for the private jet team, but Craig Grantham and his team had their work cut out when we received a call from a cruise company that had a mechanical issue with their ship. Needing to move almost 1500 holidaymakers immediately to various European Hubs for connection flights home, the Group Charter team jumped into action arranging nine aircraft at short notice to accommodate the stranded passengers. It was certainly a case of ‘all hand’s on deck’ as the Group Charter team alongside the operations department worked around the clock to complete the charters.
