The end of the season often calls for large-scale, complex operations: demanding schedules, long-haul flights, high-density business-class cabins, and crucial freight transport. This past weekend showcased just how crucial smooth logistics are. As teams fought for the constructors’ title at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Volanteus and our long-standing partner, Travel Places, orchestrated a vital charter operation for Formula 1. Together with British Airways, we delivered two of the longest charter flights in BA’s history, transporting 500 Formula 1 personnel from Las Vegas to Doha for the Qatar Grand Prix.

The Airbus A350-1000 was identified as the ideal aircraft for its long-range capabilities and superior passenger comfort—key factors for ensuring team members arrived rested and ready to tackle the challenges of the 23rd race of the season. British Airways was chosen not only for their excellent ground support at both Las Vegas and Doha airports but also for their proven operational excellence.
